These terms govern your use of themuseumos.com (the "site"), operated by MNT Holdings LLC ("MNT Holdings", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this site is

The site is an informational website about museumOS, our platform for museums. It describes what museumOS does. The site itself is not the museumOS platform, and its content is provided for information only — nothing on it is an offer or a contract.

Access to museumOS

You may contact us about using museumOS at your institution. Doing so does not by itself create any agreement between us. We may decline, limit, suspend or withdraw access at our discretion, and access may be subject to separate terms that we provide to you.

Statements that museumOS is free describe how we price the platform for museums. They are not a binding, perpetual pricing commitment, and they do not cover third-party costs you may incur in connection with running your own museum's systems.

Intellectual property

The site and its contents — including text, design, layout, graphics, logos and code — are owned by MNT Holdings or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own non-commercial reference. You may not otherwise copy, republish, sell, or create derivative works from the site without our written permission.

museumOS™ is a trademark of MNT Holdings LLC. Nothing on this site grants you a licence to use our name, trademarks or branding. Other names and marks referred to on the site are the property of their respective owners, and reference to them does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site unlawfully, or in a way that harms the site or other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or any related system
• Interfere with the site's operation, including by automated overuse, scraping that degrades service, or attempts to circumvent security measures
• Misrepresent your affiliation with MNT Holdings or museumOS

No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is complete, current or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MNT Holdings will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Links to other sites

The site may link to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own risk.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and MNT Holdings submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Nevada for any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the site.
